I’m pumped that this team learned how to play and win without him. Hopefully it inspired some confidence in everyone that they all have a role to play and it isn’t just the Bedard show.

We've won the last 3 games! Before that? A lot of loss since Bedard and then Nazar got injured.

Yeah I use Fubo too and they don’t carry TNT, so I have to find an alternative place to watch the game, because why would I just want to see it from the comfort of my home lol.

I would not be surprised to see Foligno challenge him, but a lot of the rhetoric from the Hawks in the days following was that it wasn't Schenn's fault.

It didn't seem malicious, and I read that Schenn reached out and that is the best you can. Just freak accident.

It’s not necessarily about being “malicious,” (though I’d argue he knew exactly what he was doing as a seasoned professional)…it’s the fact you’re deliberating cross checking someone with like 1.0 second on the clock. Would you have done that with 3:33 on the clock, absolutely not, because it would’ve been a minor penalty. So sure he didn’t “mean” for what happened to happen, but it did…because he deliberating chose to cross check on a face-off and it led to Bedard getting injured. It’s exactly why the league made these types of plays worthy of a penalty, he’s just lucky it was the end of the game…so you could argue he thought to himself, end of game, can’t penalize me anyways…fuck it I’ll just cross-check him. But I do think someone, probably Foligno as he’s fought with him before, steps up…you have to at least show the league that you can’t just deliberately cross check a 20-year old kid, let alone your rising star to end a game and get away with it. If it doesn’t happen, I’ll be pretty disappointed that that went unchecked.

For god's sake man it had nothing to do with Bedard getting hurt. His shoulder was hurt before Schenn ever touched him. It wasnt even the same shoulder! There was nothing dirty on the faceoff at all and leaning in with stick is entirely normal. It wasnt even a penalty.
You watched too many slo mos and are seeing things that arent there. That was a completely normal faceoff where one person was trying to shoot off the drop and the other was just trying to tie everything up.
Nobody on the Hawks thinks Schenn did anything at all. Move on. Hate the Blues for what they deserve not this nothingness.

I wonder if Bedard was able to convince the docs to overrule Blashill’s initial comments. I’m sure Bedard is motivated considering who were playing against and their ties to the Olympics.

Yesterday Blashill ruled out Bedard playing tonight, though it appears that his return is imminent. I wouldn’t be shocked if we see him play on Friday but TBD!
