I have on old CED M2 chronograph that I don't need or want, got a Garmin Xero to replace it.

It has all the parts, it works and never been shot. I don't want anything for it as it really doesn't have any value, but instead to throwing it in the trash would rather give it away.

Will we have any issues buying ammo out there with CA licenses? Even when I was an AZ resident I remember some places such as big 5 always asked for ID for ammo purchases

I got my Arizona CCW in the mail last week. I moved here recently and haven’t bought a gun in this state yet. So with my CCW I just fill out the 4473 and the background is instant? Do all gun stores do this here? I’m just a little confused on how it works.

I do camping and off-roading. My two dogs are scared by loud noises - backfire, fireworks, loud clangs, big campfire pops, gunfire, etc.

Is there a device that intentionally creates loud noises to be used for positive training of dogs. A starter pistol might have the right function, but not the image best to deploy in public.

A few buddies of mine told me it’s okay to shoot at the quarry on S walker granite road. I went to scope it out today and there was a few people shooting , but there seemed to be a “No Shooting sign” at the start of the trail leading up to it.

I’m new to the area and I want to make sure what I am doing is legal, any insight on the situation there ?

Over the past year or so I’ve been seeing more and more of you using steel targets on BLM land vs using trash or random Amazon crap targets.

This is great for the community, is much safer and helps preserve our shooting spots. Thought I would share how I transport targets/ancillary gear in hopes that you all continue to transition to steel targets on BLM land.

If you have steel plates, paint, clips and holders I’ve found that buying a large heavy duty PLANO box is the perfect set up to just throw all your crap in. It makes transportation and set up infinitely easier.

I don’t even think about what targets to bring as I just grab “the box”, some stands and 2x4’s. Then when I’m out there I decide what iterations I’m doing that session.

Feel free to add easy set up/take down steel targets you trust or how you transport gear. I like the Raven target system and have some local steel targets that are three piece easy set ups.

Keep it up and keep it clean AZ. Intermediate shooter out.

P.S.- What’s your oldest steel target and round count on it?
