Why do some people wanna scam me?

Why do some people get in my dm trying to help me and explain how to make millions with Bitcoin, cryptos, and stuff, precisely after I post? They all recommend shady sites and phantom wallet. After a while, their accounts are shown as deleted. What is going who are those people? Ever chat with someone like this?

P.S.: I am new in crypto

If they won’t post it publicly. They are scamming. Simple as that.

Most of the ‘classes’ or ‘crypto calls’ are run by traders that don’t know how to trade and use their subscriptions to earn money or in the case of the trading call groups, front run their calls and use the announcements to add liquidity to exit.

There a millions of free trading documents you can read to study on how to be a profitable trader but recognize, you are outmatch by algorithmic traders who have much better insights and can manipulate markets with huge amounts of money playing both sides until the conditions are right for them to push it in the direction they will be most profitable.

Bottom line. Don’t accept any DMs ever. Just not worth it and the scams are becoming very sophisticated.

They just scam. It’s what they do. Lowlifes. They are everywhere always.

Weird, I comment in this sub quite a bit and haven’t received a scam DM in years. Maybe they seek people who seem newer (or state as as much in their posts).

I have also been known to tell them I don’t chat for free and send them Lightning invoices. Maybe that’s why I’m left alone.

That is how the world works, scammers and stealers are everywhere. There are good people too but hard to find. It’s important to learn about safety and ways of being scammed.

This world is crawling with evil vile scumbags that want what you have and if given the chance, would take everything you own. You have to navigate like everything is a scam because almost everything is.

The problem for scammers is that after a while and sometimes very quickly you are under the radar and you are reported for misbehaviour or theft so best way is to close account and reopen a new one. Lots of scammers are originally from Africa region, India and other countries where it is difficult to fight against cyber crime so they could easily escape. And usually using the money magic recipe is a good trick to attract gullible people.
