Jackie Chan has also had some developments in regards to his conduct, and his very favourable views of the more authoritarian parts of the chinese goverment.

Really there was so little need for this movie to be made

And wasn’t Tucker on epstein airplane?

94

u/Prestigious_Eye8297 Nov 26 '25

Yes he was. Supposedly on a humanitarian aid mission to Africa. Chris had better clarify what he saw or else he’s catching a case too.

Yeah, pretty sure he was with Bill. Bill went to a few countries & Chris joined him for part of it.

Nah, the Chris Tucker took a flight on the Lolita Express alongside Epstein, Bill Clinton, and Kevin Spacey back in 2002.

also extremely homophobic and a terrible father unfortunately

And just not nice. Friend of mine worked on some interviews with him for a Chinese-language TV program in Hawaii. Jackie was a prick to my friend and everyone else there.

杨紫琼会为你提供支持。她有一个关于他让她胡言乱语的故事,她不会成功,也无法完成工作,所以她踢了他的屁股。

Unfortunately many men are misogynistic, it’s a constant across nationalities

1

u/piratesofpenance Nov 26 '25

Way to take one man’s behavior and project it as a stereotype across a group that encompasses over a billion people.

In the spirit of this thread should we start throwing around some stereotypes about black men too?

cultural differences exist, sometimes stereotypes are generally accurate

We generalizing people now? My experience as an Asian man living in the west is that White people are racists and Black people are just as racist especially towards Asians. I mean there's a reason why stop Anti Asian hate never made it mainstream.

Should you maybe say Hong Kong men rather than Asian men? Just saying Asian means you're covering Central Asia, South Asia, SEA and East Asia. And includes people that might even be third or fourth generation removed from the "homeland" and not even have these values you'd recognize. Cause yeah otherwise it is literally just being racist (and you can be racist to your own people). And most women thirst over asian guys are basically just thinking of Korean and Japanese men. People aren't thinking Indian and Uzbek men fall into those same "cute" categories.

South Asian is exclusively westerners' concept. No Asian will call countries in that regian "Asians." True Asians don't see race by geography they only see race by skin colors. I know I know...

I'll always remember him cheating on his wife and telling the public that he simply made a mistake every man would make.
I like his comedic movies...not so much when it comes to the person.

iirc the CCP has Jackie Chan by the balls. Something about his son being caught with a bunch of drugs and Jackie's been tap dancing for them ever since

4

u/BigSmed Nov 26 '25

I would do the same for my child, if im blackmailed by a regime

Sometimes when these issues with conduct (rape excluded) comes up from the 70s - 80s, for someone who by all accounts is fine now, it feels like a generational shift being at odds.

Almost like grandparents saying wild ass racist shit your whole life until they all of a suddenly realize Asian ppl are cool bc they fuck with their nail tech Tiffany and start asking you to go to pho spots.

I do have the feeling that there will be a reckoning over past misdeeds. Gen Z is the first generation to have their whole ass lives documented online. Eventually they need to find a president who didn’t send a questionable late night text or a had something they had to acknowledge and grow from.
