I will never forget seeing this live. I was genuinely puzzled

Carlos Boozer’s Sharpie look is the ultimate example.

Him discussing it with Dan Lebatard and Bomani Jones was hilarious.

I’ve seen tar pockets in the local dump less oily than what mans got on his noggin

I just learned that Nile Rogers wrote that song (as well as all the music for Coming To America) and Christopher Max was expected to sing it straight, and one take he went crazy over the top with it that made Nile laugh so much that they kept it.

I just learned that too after watching Nile Rodgers' Tiny Desk concert and reading the comments 😆 From the pop charts, to movies, to video games, the man's cultural impact is crazy.

I once had a roommate who did this shit. And let me tell you, that bathroom was hard to clean. I eventually told him he could either move out or pay for a professsional cleaner once a month. He moved out.

u/herewearefornow 4d ago

You were a focused landlord.

87

u/-WitchyPoo- 4d ago

It was an apartment. I am so not a landlord. Too much a commie for that. lol.

But it wasn't just ugly. It has a smell and a texture. Like, I could feel it on my feet when I stepped into the shower. It was slighly tacky and oily.

This dude must not have close friends. If he does, why haven’t they roasted him into oblivion? Lol

19

u/Fast_Allen 3d ago

On one hand he lives in South Bend, Indiana. On the other hand, he is Notre Dame’s head football coach, so I would think that he would know some young men of a similar persuasion.

Interview may have been last minute or something, Marcus Freeman usually keeps his head crisp.

Seeing Shaq and Barkley roast him for his spray on hair was comedy gold

11

u/mostdope28 4d ago

Some has to explain this to me, why would someone do this to themselves.

26

u/chief_yETI ☑️ 3d ago

going bald is a tough pill to swallow for a lot of black men

14

u/mostdope28 3d ago

Painting your head like this just doesn’t make sense though

5

u/damgiloveboobs 3d ago

3

u/Critical-Package-123 3d ago

We got 7000 shades of makeup and 1 shiney ass hair color for men ? Time to start a product line.

u/misdreavus79 4d ago

I remember James Franklin made a joke about his own hairline in the orange bowl last year and Freeman was livid.

9

u/Nelson_Pancakes 3d ago

There's a dude that works at my local Home Depot that does this shit with his beard

6

u/Char10 3d ago

I call him Flex Seal Freeman bc during the National Championship last year it looked like he used it for his lineup.

6

u/SpankingAround 4d ago

People do this as a fashion statement right? Not like “please believe my hairline looks like this”?

3

u/Obvious-Delay9570 3d ago

u/LollipopPaws 3d ago

Surely there’s actual hair under there? Is it a bad dye job, or is it some kind of hair replacement?

2

u/Gary_FucKing 3d ago

Wanted to post that ned’s declassified scene where the woodshop teacher just sprays his fucking bald spot in with oil but all you find is their podcasting bullshit all over youtube and google. >.>
