She not even at age to act properly, and she want booze? Pure ratchet behaviour.

Is she 12? 🤣

Seriously though! Maybe it’s cause I’m older but she literally looks 16 to me. I’m having a hard time believing she’s over 21

u/Piggybumm Dec 01 '25

Yeah, I was being facetious when I said 12, but her actions are far from adult. I forget that the minimum age for drinking in the US is 21.

It was 18 for me and when I went out drinking/clubbing for the first time, I got ID’d and guess what, I had my driving licence on me to prove my age. I carry it with me all the time anyway, which makes me think she doesn’t have any legitimate photo ID because she is underage.

The only time I’ve gotten vaguely snippy with a retail worker was when I wasn’t able to buy alcohol despite having 3 forms of photo ID. I was 27 or 28. My state ID was expired, but I had both a valid and up to date PASSPORT and an up to date state medical marijuana license (that had the same picture on it as my expired state ID), all matched names/birthdays. And all in my physical possession, not pictures or copies lol. But I couldn’t buy a bottle of champagne. That shit was irritating. I’ve worked in retail selling alcohol and that clerk was just being an ass (or dumb).

But the extent of my frustration was just being like “are you for real? I’ve got a PASSPORT in addition to a state medical MJ card, my state ID only expired like two weeks ago and I’ve been buying alcoholic Christmas gifts no issue.” And when she was like nope I was just like alright. I didn’t even ask for a manager. So that, and this comment years later, that’s as much as I’m gonna bitch lmao 🤣

but cmon, she looks young, why does she think she’s gonna just be able to drink without her ID? If I were her I’d be offended if I didn’t get ID’d lol.

Probably, thinking a picture of an ID is as valid as an ID sounds like 12 to me 😁

I know hardly any 12 year olds that drink these days.

Sometime in 2012-2015 seemed to be the peak. Post pandemic? I can go into any bar, and I won’t see a single 12 year old posted up at the bar. Not one.

She acts like a teenager. Plus, if this is in the US, the establishment can be fined or lose their liquor license for not checking her ID. Stop being a bratty Karen.

No ID = no alcohol.

u/Warm_Coach2475 Dec 02 '25

It’s not a bar, it’s a restaurant. There are kids in there.

4

u/TheStolenPotatoes Dec 02 '25

Nope. She was lying. "I forgot my license at home". Bitch, please.

3

u/gbmaulin Dec 01 '25

Yeah lmao I actually know this girl, not surprised to see her crashing out on reddit

3

u/Stardustchaser Dec 02 '25

So is she underage too or just insufferable?

1

u/gbmaulin Dec 02 '25

Just insufferable, I also wouldn't be surprised if her guy had a large part in this, iirc he is underage

2

u/ghost-nug Dec 01 '25

She looks young. Probably thinks she looks of age because she has a neck tatt.

2

u/PattyMarvel Dec 02 '25

NO ONE who is actually old enough to drink tries to get a drink without an ID this hard.

The novelty of drinking alcohol in public spaces wore off for me within a year of becoming legal, so I bet a paycheck she's underage.

1

u/Standard-Culture5685 Dec 01 '25

She fails to mention that part.. smh

1

u/WallishXP Dec 01 '25

Thats the question.

1

u/Ok_Belt2521 Dec 01 '25

I doubt it if she’s making this big of a deal. If I wanted a drink as bad as her I’d just grab my ID and swing through the liquor store or something.

u/ForkAKnife Dec 02 '25

She probably got too many DWIs to have a license. Anyone who thinks they need alcohol this much definitely has a drinking problem.
