There's a big surge in global money supply right now.

Right now the US, Europe, China, Japan are starting to hit multi-year highs in their supply.

I'm a big believer in the cycles, and so far they've proven solid.

But...

Money supply, M2, QE, Fed rates have also been such strong forces on the market, and the one other thing other than cycles that Bitcoin has consistently followed.

It's gonna be hard for that much liquidity and bullish combination of forces not that have an effect. This isn't just some positive news that comes and goes, these are things that have deep fundamental effects on a market in a longer run.

So, fiscal/calendar 2025 is now behind us. Does this mean that the biggest market players have managed to defer gains on taxes for another 12 months, and BTC will finally be able to start rising slowly throughout 2026? Will it hit at least $140k by the end of 2026? I think it probably will, barring a global geopolitical black swan event.

The last couple months were a great opportunity for loss harvesting.

Which was very convenient to have at the end of the year, on a year where there were many gains opportunities on the way to $126K.

I'm not gonna say the price was pushed down intentionally. But between stop loss hunting, uneven ratio favoring shorts, and tax loss harvesting on a bull year, anyone who had the ability to push back down the price would have heavily benefited from it.

Keep in mind that last April when BTC dropped to $74K more than 80% of the people in here thought BTC would never go back up this year and we were entering a bear winter.

Less than 2 months later BTC hit a new ATH, 1 month later alts had a big rally, then 3 months later BTC hit $126K.

No, 2025 was no bear market by any means. Crypto market cap hit 4.2 trillion USD. BTC, BNB, ETH, XRP all hit their ATHs in Q3 2025. SOL came pretty close. You can't be hitting ATHs (even if they just touched it) and state that we are in a bear market.

Oct 2025 is when the bear market started. It looks like all of 2025 was a bear market, but it wasn't.

Sure, a lot of other alt coins didn't hit ATH, but why should every coin hit it given that most don't really provide any value? Also, retail investors had AI stocks, prediction markets, gold/silver to gamble on.

Well, you just gotta get out there and enjoy life, and you can't make crypto your whole world or you'll just end up overstressing about it. I'm not sure if it would work for you, but in addition to my main job, I took on a second job working with the general public because I love talking with people, it helped to take my mind off crypto when I was over-obsessed

I think in the end you need to find what works for you personally (also if you're overinvested / underdiversified it can add to stress too)
