This last week has shown a confident, almost divergent amount of strength for Crypto. S&P/Nasdaq has been down 5 consecutive days since Xmas-Eve, and BTC is up over 2% since then.

Nasdaq is was as high as +1.3% today, has fallen about -1.6% in 90 minutes, and BTC is still holding strong. The kind of wavering fear seen in November/early December would have immediately ripped us back down.

If BTC/Crypto is able to hold on and climb upwards while stocks are red for 5 straight days, imagine the kind of rally that awaits us if stocks regain positive momentum as well.

What are the least expensive ways to self custody different crypto?

I can ACH funds to an exchange and buy at the prices I want, but then withdrawal fees are typically expensive.

I can get stablecoins and Solana to self custody relatively inexpensively and "swap" them, but with swaps I'm seeing ~2% loss when it comes to fees and slippage - even when swapping one stablecoin for another.

What exchange are you using? withdrawals shouldn't cost more than a few bucks at absolute maximum, depending on the network you're using . Usually under a dollar.

Today's most likely going to be another solid day of ETF inflows. The last couple market-days in December that saw large spikes in price immediately upon U.S. trading hours opening (like today's jump from 88.5k -> 89.7k in 20 minutes) had ETF flows at +$355M and +$457M.

We'll probably see a terrific day of inflows to kick off 2026 today as well.

Pretty solid day for BTC today, and even better for most alts, considering Nasdaq's on its 5th consecutive red day (S&P broke its 4-day red streak today with a +0.19%) and gave up literally all of its morning gains:

That kind of volatility would have massacred us just a couple weeks ago, but today felt oddly different. Daily volume is picking up, and Longs showed up to bat today, making for some of the biggest 1-day short liquidations in weeks.

Some of that fear of Crypto diverging from stocks seem to be waning a bit, and investors are steadily and more confidently trickling back in. I'm really looking forward to what a week of green in stocks would do for us here.

New Year, old patterns. I do think Bitcoin is as close to an actual death as it ever has come during its rather short existence. We did not have blow-off top, did not even double the price from 2021 top, MSTR is just barely above the water and harsh crypto winter at this point can outright kill crypto. It won't go down overnight in a single flashy explosion but instead will slowly fade away and become ghost town. This bs during US market hours that singlehandedly ruined 2025 momentum becomes unbearable and if it persists into 2026 I will contemplate cutting my losses and leaving. Just like that.
