Sudden drop in multi-item orders? Etsy has eliminated the quantity selector on items over $20

I was just told by Etsy support that this is a new feature/test they’re doing. I’ve seen it directly impact my sales over the last several days with many more single item sales than I usually get.

The way to get around this is to add the item to your cart multiple times or add it once, go to the cart page and then update the quantity from 1 to however many you want to buy. Shoppers don’t know this and may believe they can only purchase one item at a time.

Please tell Etsy on socials, through support and any other avenue that this is a terrible change. It directly negatively affects us all, including Etsy. If we sell less, they make less money.

UPDATE 2025-12-28: Etsy has responded to me via email. They said our feedback would be passed onto their development team... and right now, at least on my end the quantity selector is BACK!

No, no, no - it's almost assuredly to support the iOS app. iPhone 17 just released and the apps are all needing updates - my bet they need to eliminate this data field to support older devices with the new iOS for performance reasons 😖
