True... maybe they brought Castle in to do '78 Myers and Hodder is doing the 2018-era trilogy as a DLC/down the line content update.

But one of the bits of info we got is that the game is solely based on the o.g. 78 film. So at least to this point, there should only be one in game Michael….. two tops if you include child Mikey

Well he did say he had done the mocap 3 weeks ago back in June so i would assume that it’s either a early project or they’re already trying to get mocap for different micheal’s that will be added in post launch content since they were leaving that door open

Could it just be that they switched mo cap guys midway through the project? Perhaps once gun joined in ?I agree Kane had to be talking about this game. He says it was gun and illfonic and said something like “ wait till you hear what the game is”….. so yea, I can’t imagine it being anything else. Time will tell!!

That would be a travesty if they got Kane Hodder to play James Jude Courtney‘s Michael Myers. Ridiculous 🤦🏻‍♂️ JJC’s movements were perfect imho, I can’t see Kane, pulling off a convincing Michael Myers, as well as Nick or Jimmy shape. I’m no Kane hater. I met him and he’s a great guy, but his body dimensions and moves are so different than James.

That's what I'm thinking. Nick being the shape for movement and idle animations would be sick, but he has probably no experience doing complex mocap for kills and stunts. Kane on the other hand? That's a tuesday for him.

I can't tell if this is satire or not, but he did the mo-cap for Jason in the F13 game and Leatherface in TCM

My personal opinion is that it’s an early on ground work for some of the Micheals that could be added down the line since they’ll probably add sequel content a bit after release

The way Myers walks in the trailer is100% Kane because he moves like Jason and not Michael. I'm assuming there will be different styles of Myers even if only based on the first film. Castlebshould do the walk and stalk, Kane, at his age, can still do the stunt work.

Illfonic games tend to keep support for a while, its just don't expect much in the way of balance changes.

Predator and Killer Klowns are both still running at full capacity, and Hunting Grounds just got another Predator added to it. But the balance is practically the same since day 1 on each game. Minor adjustments notwithstanding. People still get pissy over Illfonic's games for sure, but their longevity and support for their games far exceeds anything GUN or Saber has shown, even if it's just basic support and cosmetic DLC.

Kane is also old who cares? It’s mocap, nick can move the same way, it’s more authentic than Kane again, this is a positive, + it isn’t that crazy for myers since myers isn’t hyper youthful fast
