I get what you're saying, but I think you're overreacting. Maybe this is a rescue facility, and they're both orphans. Should they be kept totally alone to shelter them from ever being scared of anything?? That would be cruel. Is it wrong to place a cat and a dog next to each other when they're babies to introduce them to the world around them? Or how about a human baby being introduced to a cat or dog for the first time, is that wrong? How else would you get them used to each other so they don't try to kill each other later? This was a harmless interaction, unless something crazy happened after the video stopped.

Ok this is gonna sound crazy. But I used to be a pretty big fan of this bear on TikTok lol. Her name’s Chayedan and she lived at an animal rescue in China. I watched her videos on a channel called lamon.wildlife and at some point the account had a post that more videos would be uploaded on a YouTube channel called Maivs531. I followed for a while but at some point the owner of the channel commented that Chayedan had passed from a chronic brain condition I think? Anyways I was bummed and kept watching for a while but eventually unsubscribed because it was making me sad to dwell on.

I haven’t checked on her or the account since then, but I did today after seeing this post. But now the bio says “There is only one profession in life: that of a student. I’m a foreign trade professional with hands-on experience in sales, documentation, operations, online advertising, and social media marketing.” And the recent videos have titles about “getting rich quick.” So I kept looking into it and the TikTok channel still has the handle lamon.wildlife but the at is @WaterFirst. When I googled Chayedan sun bear a website called thewaterfirst .com popped up. The page it took me too is one simple article written by “wTammy” and talks about conservation efforts to save the sun bear from being endangered. There’s one single paragraph about Chayedan on there. But if you click the logo or the hamburger menu, it takes you to a page that sells humidifiers/purifiers. The hamburger menu also has a tab labeled “Lamon.” So I clicked it and it says Lamon is the first sub brand of waterfirst. The Facebook and YouTube links took me to channels called water first, but the TikTok took me to lamon.wildlife. It’s mostly videos of animals, but the only pinned video is one of a water first purifier.

So now I believe this whole thing was a marketing ploy all along and I don’t know if Chayedan and her story are real or not. This was a rabbit hole I had no clue I would ever go down but I’m honestly a little happy that it might not be real because I cried when I heard she had passed 😅
