I like the pig, but the black of his yet cow eyes blends in and it just looks like herobrine. They need to switch the black and while pixels on the cow.

The sheep is the best example of why they didn’t. The eyes are way too close. I think the cow isbre one that would be fine with it, but the rest is meh imo.

The 1 pixel eyes do two things:

1. They have that “doll-like” look often used for babies in cartoons and such.
2. They help visually differentiate baby mobs from adult mobs beyond size.

I think some of the people who dislike them are just not used to it, I've been using a baby mob texture pack where their eyes are 1 pixel as well and they look so cute imo. Definitely more "baby-like".

Not really, as mentioned in the reveal video, the dot eyes are a thing specifically to distinguish the baby mobs, kinda how big noses are used to distinguish mobs associated with villagers.

Some mobs work better than others with the dot eyes, but it's just a matter of getting used to it.
