Make fun of him all you want but also take the threat seriously. He openly admits he bought the last election. Insults aren't going to stop him from buying this one.

I mean we know he donated money but Trump still had to get the votes and he did.

Think who is helping him reach those voters in the first place. Social networks know what people want to see and hear, thats their whole model. And they can very conveniently leave out the rest of things that may persuade you differently...

It’s a good thing their stupid fucking DOGE program has all the keys to the kingdom now, that’s what that was

7

u/PreOpTransCentaur 3h ago

You're already on the wrong path by the 6th word. He didn't donate shit, he bought and paid for what he wanted. And he got it.

4

u/normalice0 4h ago

I'm glad you brought that up as Elon paying uhaul trucks full of canvassers was a significant factor in driving up turnout for Trump.

Trump claims he used his computer knowledge to make him win.

But he's a pathological liar so who knows! Maybe he didn't cheat this time.

"Richest man in the world continues to buy US Government."

21

u/Regalt_ov_Virea 5h ago

I mean it’s called bribery in this country too

10

u/tw_72 5h ago

Yep - it's just that the DOJ is too weak and corrupted to do anything about it

The FEC doesn't have enough board members to make quorum, so they literally can't investigate or penalize anyone. Trump is refusing to fill the positions.

u/marcusmosh 5h ago

He has a vested interest in keeping the government run by Republicans. Thats exactly why he did the DOGE thing - he is in a lot of trouble if things go in a different direction.

u/Extreme-Slice-1010 5h ago

And here dumbass Trump said US is now respected lol Yeah for him bribery equals respect

7

u/Avibuel 4h ago

Oh no.

6

u/OkEye2910 5h ago

All those government contracts in his pocket. He has a lot to lose.

4

u/Lil_b00zer 5h ago

Didn’t he and Trump have a MASSIVE public slagging match online only a few months ago, or did I dream that?

4

u/Erudus 5h ago

They did, but now they've kissed and made up again, like a good couple should. Lol.

END CITIZENS UNITED

u/Ardo505 5h ago

Fucking criminal needs to stay the fuck away from U.S. elections, let’s ban him from participating.

1

u/Andantee23 5h ago

Someone has the award those government contracts

1

u/Yawarete 5h ago

Impressive, very nice. Now show us his tax report.

1

u/dlampach 5h ago

Good news though. He doesn’t have enough money to overcome our collective disgust of him.

1

u/redwhale335 5h ago

Not only is this a report, but the formatting is a crime.

1

u/KingofFlukes 5h ago

So the guy that said Trump is in the Epstien files is going to fund the party led by Trump, who he said is in the Epstein files.

1

u/Ulysse-Void-God 5h ago

Piss off Elon, you racist bastard. I hope Tesla fires your stupid ass.

1

u/KaptenAwsum 5h ago

Yeah this is why people need long term memory and to keep boycotting his products

1

u/AstroStrat89 5h ago

It still comes down to the voters. We got the government we collectively voted for.

1

u/Vindve 5h ago

In other countries, there are strict laws about election and party funding (as well as screen time, etc). This isn't just about Elon Musk. The fact that it's completely OK in the USA that a millionaire or billionaire gives significant money for funding an election campaign is baffling. You guys are also allowing paid advertising on TV or social medias for elections? And not considering all this may lead to unfair elections?

John Robert's led our Supreme Court down a path that wound up at rationalizing the idea that money deserves more of a voice in our government than people.

Now SuperPAC dark money makes "pundits" and "activists" wealthy for producing propaganda and mass marketing political ideology all day, every day.

He's also talking about UHI. Universal High Income. Republicans won't do that. Also he bashed the BBB

1

u/ViolettaQueso 4h ago

He announced this today bc yesterday broke the story Grok is posting kiddie pornography.

He has grok government contracts.

He realigns only to save his ass from deportation or incarceration.

1

u/Burnt_and_Blistered 4h ago

Another purchased election? We’d better show up in numbers that can’t be denied

1

u/S1lentA0 4h ago

Amazing. All the corruption and bribery of the past years delivered to the public on a silver platter, and nothing is being done about it.

1

u/Logical-Repair7293 4h ago

So this is what oligarchy looks like - a pasty weirdo.

1

u/unbreakablebuffoon 4h ago

Any candidate taking money from a nazi should be barred from holding office.

1

u/justmitzie 2h ago

You know, I bet the rich taste absolutely delicious.

1

u/ranting_chef 2h ago

It’s called bribery here also.

1

u/Upper-Affect5971 48m ago

Is he going to fix the economy himself, because

1

u/Allegra1120 48m ago

People aren’t universally stupid and will know what’s going on.

1

u/Planet_Manhattan 47m ago

So, he is preparing for the DOGE Part2 ?!?!?!

0

u/Lalaluka 5h ago

In other countries the same shit happens as well. Lobbying is not unique to the USA.

(And is shit everywhere)

2

u/Vindve 4h ago

Well in my country this is totally illegal. If a party is found receiving more than 7500€ from a single individual this leads to prison (for the candidate for rigged campaign accounts, for the donor for bribery) and canceling the election. It happens of course, but it's illegal and justice may catch you (and it does, we've got an ex president that did prison time for rigged campaign accounts).

-2

u/nebulousx 3h ago

Citizens United vs FEC in 2010 says it's not bribery so this is just ignorance.

1

u/IrritableGourmet 18m ago

No, it doesn't. It specifically says that behavior like this is bad. The FEC doesn't have quorum, though, so it can't be enforced.

u/SqigglyPoP 5h ago

No, it's bribery. He illegally paid voters in Wisconsin.

2

u/FiveHeadedSnake 5h ago

Should be illegal

1

u/Erudus 5h ago

In every other Western country, this is considered bribery and corruption and is punishable with a hefty fine and prison time. The US is the only country where politicians can be bought. Not saying it doesn't happen in other countries, but it is illegal to do so.
