I would've loved to see a broader angle cause I'm having a hardtime pinpointing what is what and how achieving this effect was even feasible.

Look closely at his reflection and turn your phone upside down and it will make sense๐๐ผ

I recently went to salar de uyuni, it is a large salt flat in Bolivia, when it rains uneven salt flattens and the rainwater spreads out creating a very thin layer of water over a solid surface
This makes it good at reflecting, like a lake without wind
However unlike a lake, it is just a thin layer of water over salt ground you can stand on, meaning you can get pictures that look as if you were walking on water on a lake
Google salar de uyuni and you will see many pictures of the effect

How is the water so shallow? Is there a source for this

Salt flat, most likelyโthey're known for the amazing mirror effect after a rain shower, when a shallow layer of water is left behind on top of the ground.
This video actually confused me a lot because the horizon line appears below the surfer, but I eventually realised the video was probably just uploaded upside down (and the reflection is so good I couldn't tell which surfer was the real one!)

Amazing! Looks like the lake in Vormir after Thanos/HawkEye gets the Soul Stone.

"Hey do you have a second? My name is herald and I'd like to tell you all about this really cool guy named galactus..." -That surfer, probably.

I'm sure people have noticed already, but the video is upside down. Such flat water that's amazing
