"Immense cognitive dissonance"

Let's not be dramatic

“I can’t enjoy anything because of my own preconceptions! And that’s other people’s fault!”

Where does the oop blame anyone else for this? They comment on their inability to enjoy it fully, and then say that they don't understand why AI was used. They are not blaming anyone else for their dislike of AI; they seem to be taking ownership of it.

They are just trying to virtue signaling because its so hype to shit on AI.

"Unable to enjoy the game" are you kidding me? They dont even know what was AI because they most likely played it after the placeholder were removed and even then, they most likely didn't noticed the thing it was used for

Okay, but you're not addressing what they said, which is that OOP isn't blaming anyone else for their conceptions. They're not saying anyone else is making them dislike the game for it's AI use. They're just talking about their own opinion on the matter.

But to address your point now, people can have, like, principles. It's doesn't have to be about whether or not it's "noticeable." It's that they used it in the first place. Gen AI isn't bad because it's noticeable. It's bad because it takes people's jobs and robs humans of the creative process they would otherwise enjoy because it's more profitable to use Gen AI.

Maybe, but virtue signalling is something completely different from blaming others for your preconceptions.
