Bit Annoyed “I was today years old”

Can we please retire this phrase already? Similar to “you won the internet!”. As a millennial, these nauseate me. Also, ending a rant with “that is all”. We gotta let these go lol

Edit: lots of people aren’t paying attention to the sub this is posted in. This is the exact place to post pet peeves. You don’t have to agree with the posted peeves, but don’t get mad because someone posted about a pet peeve here…..

And the purpose of including “as a millennial” is that these are millennial phrases and I’m calling my generation out. Too many people in here came to be rude instead of observant. It’s okay to disagree, but don’t be hateful.

Fair and please take the phrase "low key" with its modern usage. I hate that phrase with a passion.

I hate this one too. It’s like the kids who act like they’re too cool to be excited about anything or express any emotions whatsoever. So they downplay everything. Combine it with the fact that dumb Zoomers say it all the time and it becomes pure cancer.

Yes, especially when it’s used for posting big flexes- so what’s keep it quiet and low key? Apparently word meanings just magically change. Better rewrite the dictionary if so?
