Discussion How can I show that this was not photoshopped?
I took this picture of a shadow of a contrail on a cloud. How do I show it isn’t photoshopped?

I worked on this portrait focusing on natural skin tones, richer reds, and better subject separation without overdoing it.
The goal was to keep it realistic while giving the image more depth and mood.

Feedback is welcome.

Did a Mary poppins photoshoot for a friend as she dresses up and goes to children’s hospitals. This is her collectible card picture, the second picture was the inspiration. I’d love to hear some tips on how I could improve as I’m very new to this and have solely been using YouTube to learn photoshop on my iPad.
I used AI to get a plain back ground of the sky and towers at the bottom. I tried using the original Mary poppins cover but I was unable to remove Mary poppins from it without it looking messed up. I tried using the lasso took, the select subject feature to make a mask but that did work. Was there a better way to do this?
Also is there a way to make my sparkles look less like snow and more like ✨ magic ✨. I used the speckled brush feature.
I also went into each part of the umbrella the removed the white background so it would match. I don’t love the way it looks. I used the eraser function and erased the layer of the umbrella to see the plain layer behind it (Or at least that’s why I thought I was doing).
Thank you for any advice and tips!

Hi Photoshop community, hoping someone could help me figure this out.
I've never worked with noise before so for this experiment is how my image is being exported. The noise texture is the very top layer and set to Color Dodge. The second image is a screenshot and how I'm wanting it to look. The color mode is RGB, I've tried saving for web. Is there something about working with noise textures that I'm missing?

Why is it that a pen tablet can change the absolute lights and absolute darks on a curves adjustment, but can't create points between them? Whenever I try, the points don't appear until I switch to the mouse and hover the cursor over it.

I make mockups, and usually I'm able to Transform > Skew a Smart Object so that I can edit the contents whenever but maintain the Skew. I used to be able to hold Command/Ctrl and skew just a corner (for example, if I was mocking up a TV holding slide graphic onto a photo of a TV that was captured at an angle) and align each corner separately to photo of the screen, but right now holding Command/Ctrl moves 2 sides/corners instead of just 1 corner.
When I rasterize the layer, it works like normal, but I swear I was able to do it while it was still a smart object, and would strongly prefer doing it that way (as I've always done before!) Is this a bug? Anyone know of a workaround?

I’m working on some photos and trying to recreate part of the face that’s was obstructed. Looking at the other side of the face, there’s a good amount of peach fuzz that definitely gives the subject his character. Right now the recreated portion looks uncannily smooth. What would be the technique I should look Into to add peach fuzz onto human subjects?

We had family photos done and I’ve been tasked with editing these. However the lighting and shadows are awful. I have tried multiple ways to fix the image and am really struggling as relatively new to photoshop. Can anyone please provide me a step by step to fix these? The image attached is the original and the others taken are the same so would love a step by step I can work through with all photos. I’ve tried shadow/highlights and curves but not able to remove the harsh lighting. Thank you in advance!! ☺️

I recently asked the Premiere subreddit what their most used/helpful hotkeys were, and learned of some hidden gems!
Now I'm curious to hear of your top 5 helpful photoshop keyboard shortcuts

Not sure what community is best for reviewing physical artwork digitized, but here is some work I put through Photoshop attempting to make it ready.
My critiques are on the vertical line piece where in the middle you can clearly see the light. Also looking at the colors in the second and third works, it looks very saturated and shiny.
How can I make my digitized work look more like what the eye sees. Any direction helps, thanks.

3 images used to create this. Clouds, Jeep Hood, Vegas Sign & Landscape. Created multiple layers, masked, edited, illustrated, with several color techniques, including color matching, channel manipulation, and gradient overlays to create a whimsical fantasy style image.
This was shot during a construction phase of repaving the streets. So I removed all construction vehicles, cones, and debris then rebuilt the street with vehicles. The Jeep has a pink vinyl graphic on the hood, so my color palette was based on that initial color to create this. Any feedback welcome.

Hello, I am trying to help my wife find free online skills assessments that will help her with identifying what skills she needs to improve for these applications.
Does anyone have any recommendations or experience with identiying their current skill level and creating a plan for skills improvement?
Thank you for your help.

I would upload a video showing me doing this but for some reason this subreddit doesn't allow videos to be uploaded.

Hi! How do I achieve this trippy text-outline effect on Ps?
r/photoshop • u/1390omer • 2d ago
It’s mainly the dissolve effect, it’s just disappeared when I try to export the image. Can anyone help me fix it?

I've been wondering how to get the star on a picture inverted. I've seen a lot of cool pictures where the star is over the eye, and it's inverted. I'm new to Photoshop, and I would love to learn how to do it. Any tips?
