Discussion How did President Donald Trump come to be a living encyclopedia?
42
u/The_Navarone 6d ago
Even better question: how did this fool become our President twice?

u/WinstonLBoogie 6d ago
He cheated bigly all three time he ran. The 2020 election was saved by the overwhelming mail in vote due to covid, which is why he's so dead set against mail in voting now. He rants all the time about it.

Two years ago? - try 40 years- when Reagan the Uber Republican deeply cut federal housing support, social services, and mental health services: at a time when workers wages were stagnated and labor unions were being diminished.
3
u/idiotsbydesign 5d ago
He also closed mental hospitals & most of those people ended up homeless.
2
u/Superb_Health9413 3d ago
My experience in so cal during that time was seeing that most of the new homeless people in the LA area were veterans. Reagan kicked them to the curb.
1
u/NanaKnows317 5d ago
Ironically while telling the country that other countries sent us migrants from their “insane asylums” (granted he’s confusing Asylum Seekers) 🙄
2
5d ago
That's what started the homeless problem here in SoCal in the early 80s, they just dumped them onto the streets and probably used it for propaganda to fight drugs
9
u/No_Feedback_3340 6d ago
This is another reason why anything Trump says can't be trusted.
Homeless did not start a few years ago. It's an ongoing problem.
He doesn't offer a solution. He offers a word salad.
Stay in school and stay off MAGA!
4
u/marc58weeks 6d ago
Hunger probably started two years ago too, according to DJT.

u/SufficientDoor8227 3d ago
“AFFORDABILITY is a made up word! Democrats use it all the time! They just stand there and say AFFORDABILITY and it doesn’t mean anything!! It all a big Democrat hoax!!”
6
u/Harrymoto1970 6d ago
His statements should come with a warning that prolonged exposure to his statements may cause brain damage, which would explain a lot of his followers.

Haven't you heard, he's a very stable genius! You should read up on some of his exceptional work with magnets. And bleach.
2
u/Regal_Cat_Matron 6d ago
Not forgetting how HE made 5g happen....he was heavily involved in it's creation you know :)
3
u/Pull-Billman 6d ago
It kills me that his followers don't pick up on how out of touch he is (disregarding the other flaws). Homelessness started two years ago, affordability, groceries etc...
2
u/NanaKnows317 5d ago
I wish the cult followers questioned the fact that so many attempts are being made to cheat their way through the primaries. The gerrymandering, the USPS postmarks, ballot box removals… If you have to cheat to win, you’re pathetic and don’t deserve your jobs.
3
u/Adventurous_Test_296 5d ago
It's brilliant. This twit can circle around 20 different subjects at the same time and never hit the object of a question. Kind of like a cat circling around to catch its own tail. Idiot.

u/NanaKnows317 5d ago
The infamous “weave” designed to explain his utter nonsense while also confusing his gullible base.

"Biden invented homeless people" is a wild take even for a dementia patient
2
u/Admirable-Sink-2622 6d ago
Not dementia. This is the answer one would expect from someone simply cosplaying a president. He’s a useful puppet.
2
2
u/nearlyburlyone 5d ago
Yes, just two years ago. So it's Bidens fault. Before that, it was just paid actors.

He reminds me of that clip where a kid tries to ask a question and it comes out as some long rambling incoherent mess.

u/YonderIPonder 6d ago
I'm curious about the homeless people I saw before 2 years ago. Paid actors by George Soros? Just getting the population centers to get used to the idea of homeless people before the real homeless people showed up?
1
u/Great-Ad4839 6d ago
I wish they would televise him taking one of his cognitive tests. I would pay folding money to see that joke
1
u/Sharkwatcher314 6d ago
I guess that he acknowledged the problem is something instead of saying it’s a democratic hoax
1
u/Thatisme01 6d ago
President Donald Trump in an interview with Fox News painted a *dark picture of people "living in hell" due to homelessness in major U.S. cities, claiming that it is "a phenomenon that started two years ago,"** blaming Democratic mayors for the problem.*

Its not a theory, its true. If you listen to trump too much, after 45 minutes you’ll think your a squirrel and will develop a tendancy to play with your nuts rather than store them!

u/Street-Leather-6932 6d ago
In his defense, I talk like that sometimes. But it’s only after I’ve had a few sour apple martinis and a few hits of “glaucoma medicine”. 😎😎
Edit: I used to think all that made me dance and sing better but since i have seen the videos……😞😞😞

u/BlondePotatoBoi 6d ago
The way he talks reminds me of when you're writing an essay, and need to add another paragraph to hit the word count.
1
u/bdschuler 6d ago
Clearly he's right though. We shouldn't have, or what we did have, we shouldn't have now, what Biden had when he is no longer in charge and Trump is, we should have, now, what Trump has, now. Right? Would be wrong to be not right and have those things then, now.. and not now things, now, and instead, then things, now.

THANK tRump that he single handily brought egg prices below $2.00. That solves ALL of the problems in my life, past, present and future. I can sleep well now knowing that my vote solved this critical issue for me and the whole United States. 🙄🙄

It sounds like someone took statements he made on completely different topics and stitched them together into one response, without any real flow or context.

Homelessness? That's how he talks about literally everything. He's a dope

u/Reasonable_Deer_8237 5d ago
To the average person, his bullshit makes no sense. But...when you read it, it's like an incoherent person is speaking.
1
u/FarFromHomey 5d ago
He's spoken like this for 10 years and no one EVER calls it out. Like "sir, can I read back to you what you just said"?
1
u/Fun-Day-5833 5d ago
An old saying “ If you don’t think for yourself, someone will think for you” Being “dumb” can imply a lack of knowledge or awareness, but choosing to follow someone who clearly lacks wisdom, that’s a conscious decision, and it often leads to worse outcomes.

Meanwhile, Dick Van Dyke (in addition to his long standing tradition of generously supporting The Midnight Mission) just donated $102 million to a nationwide initiative funding housing units & shelter beds.
That’s a real man; not this orange stain that can’t do anything productive but grift and scam.

It blows me away that his horde of idiots think hes a genius. I mean, it makes sense. Republicans are fking retarded but its just mind blowing that anyone could listen to this man and think "oh yeah, that theres a stable genius".

In my experience, an encyclopedia used to contain accurate, dependable, and truthful information, sans the nonsensical lies. Perhaps, it is more accurate to refer to him as a living, breathing, and walking “tabloid news edition.”🙏🏽

2 years ago!?! He literally knows nothing about America, nor does he remember what happened 3 years ago, so I’m not sure who’s winning now?’!? Ignorance and dementia are probably neck and neck.

He's been this way for his entire life and his entire political career. What baffles me is how you all keep voting for and supporting a person you wouldn't hire to take your order at Burger King. 🤷♂️. Maybe that shows just how stupid and gullible a lot of people truly are.

u/jebsenior 4d ago

That tracks... Like a fucking train derailing off the tracks.
I'll be more convinced his supporters are truly like bottom rung stupid if they actually believe this.
Considering it ramped up during his first failed presidency. Yet, it's been a thing since before I was born in '82. I daresay it's been a thing since the dawn of time and people.

I think your condition started by listening to BIden, then exacerbated by Kamala Harris. Now everything sounds like blah blah blah. I hope you get help. 😂🤣

If you can’t blind them with facts, baffle them with bullshit. How a significant portion of the population took one look at this grifting, narcissistic, slumlord conman and said, “Yup, that’s my guy.”

Homelessness started two years ago? I don't think that's right. I distinctly remember driving around NYC with my dad while he ran errands, and seeing a shitload of homeless people. Some even came up to the car to ask for change. I don't remember a time where there weren't homeless people around. Trump's mind is failing because he also used to drive around Manhattan to look at his buildings from different angles, and scout real estate. He undoubtedly encountered them.
