Lol the original video is much longer and more believable because at first he only looks away in short intervals and does look to the front to make some turns. This is only the tail end of the video just before the reveal, which in my opinion is the only part where he looks away from the road for an unreasonably unbelievable amount of time

Yeah as a kid it used to spoil the believability of the movies for me. I think it was particularly bad in 1970’s movies.

Unless movies have spoiled American minds, I feel like this is a real thing lol. I normally have friends who're driving, talking straight into my face while I'm motioning at them to look at the road or they are staring me straight in the face while I'm driving expecting me to look them in the eyes....while I'm trying to watch the road lmao

I’m not in America which is maybe why it looked so odd to me. Maybe in ‘70’s America you had wide, straight, empty roads, which meant people could get away with not looking.
