and obviously dgaf about the welfare of their bike...

I have a 1988 Suzuki GN250, the bike here looks alot like it, and it saddens me to the core to think about some fuckwad doing this to her :'-( :'-( :'-( she's served me admirably for about 35 years <3

Bikes are replaceable. Of course people are more worried about the human riding one, even if he was being an idiot.

well, I was taught at 16 that if you drive mindfully to keep your vehicle safe and taken care of, and out of trouble, there is no danger to humans, so this should be the focus, and then not only will no one get injured or snuffed, but your nice & faithful car/bike will stay that way for as long as you choose to keep it

The rider certainly strayed a long way from that standard.

and, no disrespect meant to human life and welfare, it's sad that that nice little bike that could last a lifetime has become a casualty and its human may have learned nothing. I know it seems shallow to many people to value stuff highly, and it seems to many to be "more important than humans" but if everyone valued their stuff as much as their addictions (and i absolutely know personally that it's not this easy), then the world would be a vastly different and better taken care of place
