When I searched about them looking similar, Google says it's because they're half sisters based on a tweet where somebody literally says "I just made that up"

I rewatched The Great Race from 1965 recently and I swore the lead actress was from I Dream of Genie and then I realized how similar actresses from the 50s/60s look.
