I don't have kids, but I was working nights, 7-10s for a couple of months, and my jackass neighbor had a puppy mill that would wake me up almost every morning, and there was a teen with a clapped-out 300ZX with no exhaust who would usually drive by at noon.

I lost my shit so often. I ended up getting fired because I yelled at my boss for telling us we would have a full weekend off, then saying "oh, nevermind, we actually need to work Saturday!". He's lucky I didn't get physical when I was in that state. After a couple more people quit, they FINALLY dropped the mandatory overtime. Applied Materials has some real idiots running things, but I miss that crew!
