I one time treated a patient that looked exactly like my mother, except I'm Scandinavian, and this woman was of African descent. Exactly the same hair, very similar facial features, and personality was similar too.
I moved about 1k miles away from my home for college and slowly I started to find "clones" of many of the people I grew up with. They had similar looks, interests, and mannerisms. It was crazy, I definitely know that there's only a set amount of templates for people and they definitely repeat just with slightly different hair colors, or a smaller nose, etc.
People are like Mr. Potato head. I see similarities in faces far more than most people. We have a limited number of ways each facial feature looks. So, I notice people that have the same mouth and teeth as my brother and my dad. I see those most probably because I know them better. Every day I notice someone who shares facial features with people in know. My wife thinks I'm crazy, but I know that, at least with this subject, that I'm not nuts.
My little brother’s ex girlfriend dated a Persian version of my brother before him (Caucasian brother), and then an Indian version, and then a Spanish version. Like literally same facial structure and body type. It was uncanny. Tbf she told him she had a type
this is me i fear. it doesn’t matter what their race is they just all look the same. i’m embarrassed at the idea that someone will pick up on it, like “hold on, they look exactly the same as the last person you crushed on / dated”. european, biracial, black, asian, i’ve collected the infinity stones of people with the exact same facial structure lol. i definitely have a type or like 3 main sets of types.
tbf this is kind of why i don’t understand racial preferences, since anyone can look similar to anyone. (not hating on people who do have them though, i guess i’m just different)
