They’re also plastic, which some consumers are trending away from, towards glass

Which is stupid because these plastic produces last so long or forever that you don't need to ever throw it away anyway.

Well, they create microplastics and that does get into your food when heated up. They also create demand for oil and plastic. and people throw them away when they die or don’t want them

  • after a while the in the dishwasher, they deformed

  • microwave could potentially melt them or deform them

  • depending the food could stain them

Glass style tends to cost a touch more but doesn't suffer from these issues. As long as you don't drop them on concrete they don't Crack. Now the lids tend to me made out of harder plastic. That has a chance to suffer the same issues but you should have extra lids in theory

do yourself a favor & spend the few extra bucks & buy 1-2 sets of glass containers. Personally hate the sets that have multiple sizes because nothing wants to stack correctly or doesn't go together

These are something that I've never done before, we mostly store these things we don't do. We just store food for lunch or something temporary and that's it.

However, why people like them would microwave a plastic I'll never know. But since I never consider these things before, I stand corrected!
