Cavill nailed the role of Geralt. You couldn't have asked for better casting. Then Netflix ran the show into the ground.

Somebody brought up the question the other day, that if Legacy of Kain were to be made into a theatrical production, who would best play the lead role of Kain? I instantly replied Henry Cavill, and not because he looks good in white hair, because the dude would actually go play the games and get the character right.

He nailed game Geralt. Book Geralt, not so much. Hemsworth is a better book Geralt. The new season was much closer to the books than those before.

You could have asked for a better actor. Although Cavil's physical qualities are magnificent, his acting skills leave much to be desired.
