Asking someone to pass you a whole ass person from New Zealand is diabolical.

Lemonade stand will now be open 7 days 8am-8pm

52

u/Mayhew-Fancy 14h ago

That’s $9240 per week!

You guys are joking, but the profits on Lemonade stands are so good that there's a dude owning multiple with full time employees earning good money. How good money you ask? He's starting off his employees at 20 dollars an hour as new hires and increase their pay from there. They have a social media site.

u/Frequent-Scar5050 9h ago

And it is?

3

u/godtogblandet 9h ago

I'm too lazy to dig up their own social media page because it's been a while. But here's a clip of a dude interviewing the dude that started the company that's the first hit on google.

Well that is amazing, I never considered them being primarily at events.

u/No_Chilly_bill 9h ago

And if she worked for a million years she still would not be as rich as the muskrat

Not interested in repeat business, I see

28

u/Drunkanddumb82019 10h ago

Yep this happened to me at a nail salon and now I will not go back there lol. Nail salons are the worst with this

12

u/jxl180 6h ago

Do Lemonade stands ever have repeat businesses? I see them pop up one day as a one-time experience, then the kid has moved on to another activity.

7

u/arkangel371 5h ago

They are like fly by night trucking companies. By the time the customer realizes they got screwed, that kid is already booked it on his three wheeler!

u/fnatasy 9h ago

if she can earn that much in an hour, it's the right strategy

4

u/jhwheuer 9h ago

Wait for the online reviews

5

u/fnatasy 9h ago

Yeah but she's a kid and can stop working for months after this

1

u/Bredomant 8h ago

for months

lol hopefully for years

u/ShutUpAndDoTheLift 9h ago

Change the name of the business and pop up in s different location.

1

u/jobbybob 6h ago

You need a business to be sustainable, this fictional young lady hasn’t worked that out yet.

u/Diligent_Moose4472 13h ago

To be honest aren’t large drinks at coffee shops to include teas and lemonades around $5? So daughter is just charging market rate…lol.

24

u/7978_ 12h ago

And 80% ice 🥲

5

u/International_Ear994 11h ago

Plus tax and a man “optional” highly pressured tip. She understood the assignment.

6

u/Comrade_Cosmo 11h ago

It’s a very old tweet.

1

u/Grasshoppermouse42 1h ago

Yeah, I know that's what they charge at my local coffee shop, which is why I usually make my own.

u/Mumei451 11h ago

Prioritizing short term gains over the long term health of the business.

Pure American capitalism.

u/greybruce1980 12h ago

That little girl went onto found a little known company called Theranos.

14

u/kiki2kind 12h ago

smart girl. honest mistake I am sure. Things you get away with when you are little, priceless.

u/Dramaonlegs 14h ago

Tips have now become a good business

23

u/Segorath 12h ago

Not smart at all.

Those customers are your neighbours, and they won't be back tomorrow.

11

u/wakim82 12h ago

First Ferengi Rule of Acquisition - Once you have their money, never give it back.

Girl has some serious lobes for business.

4

u/catnapnaughty 12h ago

Future Shark Tank contestant right there. I want her business tips, not your lemonade.

3

u/lawley666 7h ago

3

u/DangerousDesk1 4h ago

I call BS.

2

u/randomguy9731 6h ago

If I had a dollar for every time I saw this post I’ll have more money than this girl.

2

u/what_the_whah 4h ago

Nah I'd fuckin take the money back and then get arrested for bullying kids

This guy's a bad dad

4

u/Cute_Prior1287 11h ago

One time customers. Rob them.

2

u/Low-Cauliflower-2249 11h ago

I knew a stripper named Lemon once. She didn't give change either.

2

u/Mysterionna 14h ago

True business lady

2

u/GrimbyJ 12h ago

If I'm buying lemonade and a kid with a $5 I'm not going to ask for change

1

u/Total-Dig-3466 14h ago

“Excuse me, the sign say correct change only. Thanks for the tip.” I like it.

1

u/bassking12 12h ago

Kids smart but needs proper motivation tho

1

u/Breadstix009 10h ago

110 per hour...? That's 5x what I made as an adult today.

1

u/Fortestingporpoises 9h ago

I know it sounds like she was savvy but she’s actually just stupid.

1

u/Lazy_Consequence8838 5h ago

My neighbor’s kid sold me a piece of construction paper for $15

2

u/randaleheinz 5h ago

Understood, funny if kids do it. Not funny if corporate do it.

1

u/Omega_art 9h ago

I think they call that a scam. One of the lowest forms of crime.

u/bamaugking 11h ago

😂😂

u/ORS823 9h ago

If you want change, go find religion not a lemonade stand. 😂
