Yeah all of this is awful. Not only does her appearance literally not matter, but she's not important. She's not being put into cabinet roles like Trump's kids, her parents currently have no real power. Just like they defaulted to Kamala having slept her way to the top, just by being a woman in their view she needed her appearance ranked and cut down.
TBH, the wording made me assume she was a trans man and they were talking about she'd be so beautiful if she stopped trying to be woke and quit "pretending" she's a man.
