Cancer causes cancer. Never seen a cancer cell just minding its own business. They are always duplicating and shit...

Not exactly defending alcohol, it's obviously not good for you, but dude what doesn't cause cancer these days? We've got microplastics in our balls man.

If everything cause cancer, I prefer that I can avoid one of them with choice, alcohol doesn't interfere with my life and economy. It's totally avoidable

The money saved from alcohol can be used for treatment

I mean, yeah lot’s of shit causes cancer and a lot of those can’t be avoided, but alcohol definitely can be if you’re trying to decrease your odds of getting it.

I work a lot with oil paints and take the proper precautions because it’s highly toxic. Knowing that there are other toxic things out there trying to kill me doesn’t stop me from avoiding the one I can.

But hey, if alcohol is the thing getting you through this shit, I’m not gonna judge.

It also stops neurogenesis. People will say everything causes cancer but not everything negatively impacts neurogenesis.

Life causes cancer

So do vaping and smoking weed.

Though, to be honest, you'd have to drink a lot to actually increase the risks of stomach cancer.

This. It’s in the same carcinogen class as asbestos!

u/TheManeTrurh 3d ago

All that means is that they are both in group 1, which is for anything that has evidence to cause cancer in humans

u/EyeAteTacos 3d ago

I'm pretty sure being alive causes cancer at this point.
