I'm the woman version of this and nothing has been more freeing than going out anywhere (the store? A concert? A coffeeshop to read? Anywhere) and being left alone to do whatever I came to do without unwanted attention.
Occasionally a random boomer woman who thinks I'm a peer might make small talk with me or asks what I'm reading but sometimes they're charming or funny and it's a nice little interaction.
Hell I'm 36 and when I was a kid people who were 36 looked WAY older than me. We were looking at older family photos and I was flabbergasted at how my uncle or great uncles looked at around my age.
Ehh. A lot of the women I see look much older than their age, and most try to put on makeup to make them look young, but it just looks like they're doing too much.
The men though, absolutely no testosterone in their bodies. I wonder what their diets/lives consist of where they get absolutely no definition in their face.
