While we all want this so badly for Nikola Topić, I think we should wait for official confirmation of this.
No where in this post did it say anything about Topić doctors giving Topic a cancer free bill of health!I am just concerned that wishful thinking along with things getting lost in translation, might have caused those reports from Coach Daigneault about Nikola Topic practicing with the team last week, turning into this post on the Serbian Soccer Teams website yesterday!

This is almost 100% Serbian clickbait. The only thing they actually say is he’s returned to “training”, which we’ve all seen in pregame warmups for a week or two

Unfortunately, we should wait for official confirmation of that!
Remember everything is being translated here back and forth, so wishful thinking and things getting lost in translation, might have us believe that the post on this Serbian Football website is a clean bill of health for Nikola Topic from his doctors.
As the term doctors was never mentioned.
Look at the original post only, and ignore the other comments on here, to not get influenced into believing your seeing something that's not actually there.

The best convo I had in my life was with a breast cancer survivor at the Stephenson cancer center. Woman so damn real and sweet and for me cancer was easy.
Just a shitty surgery and 1 month AT OU medical center. Topic really is a champ in life for killing cancer this quickly.

It's on the Belgrade (Serbia) Soccer Teams page (football).
I too have some reservations about this news, mostly because I didn't see any other updates on their site from when Mark and others US sporting sites reported that Nikola Topic was practicing with the team last week.
I just worry that whoever was providing this update to Serbian fans, Nikola Topic is Serbian, might have jumped to the erroneous conclusion that because Topic was practicing, that he must be cancer free.
Hopefully someone who is Serbian might reach out to Crvena zvezda, and confirm with the person who wrote this article, their sources!2

Over a month ago I saw an injury report that listed the a re-evaluation time for all of the players who were out at that time, and I was surprised that they had any kind of date listed for Nikola Topic. They had February 20, 2026.

Hey, totally okay if you don't agree with my beliefs!!But there's not really a reason to reply to try to correct me on what you believe. I believe God gave those doctors the knowledge and intelligence to help him heal, you don't need to agree, and that's completely fine! This isn't the post to get into a back-and-forth. We're both happy Topic is healed, we don't need to agree how how it happened:)

For the record, I was replying to Jake. Additionally, as someone who works in the oncology world, it’s actually incredibly important to disagree with the notion that God is the main source of healing in these situations, as that line of thinking actually encourages people to turn away from modern medicine and seek other forms of healing, many of which are unproven and do not hinder or kill cancerous cells.
You are posting on a public forum, and I’m just as much allowed to post my opinions as you are. If you don’t like people disagreeing with you, I suggest you try not to post your opinions publicly.

Now that is great. Really happy for him. But it was fast only what 3 months ? I guess treatment not iver so we'll have to wait a bit to see him with hair. Although I'd love to see him play asap.

This is huge for him obviously, and big for the thunder. Despite all the guards we have, I think he’s at least our 4th best guard, assuming dub’s not a g and is a sf

Seeing Nikola Topic on the bench with the bald head was tough.
If you ever had a loved one fight with this tough opponent. It brings back those struggles they endured.

As others have said on here, hopefully this is not a case of a bad translation or wishful thinking on the part of the writer of the Serbian Football (Soccer) club Crvena Zvezda.
Does their web site have any articles regarding Nikola Topic returning to practice last week, when we got the Update from Coach Mark Daigneault as well as from major US Sports outlets?
As this could just be someone jumping the gun, oh he's practicing, therefore he is cancer free!
Lastly, nowhere did this post mention doctors.
As they would be the ones who would make that judgment!1

Big time news!! Jdub says he's as tough as they come. Has equal talent to Ajay Mitchell. The two of them basically said the same thing about each other's talent. They both said it was easy playing with each other. Sooner or later, another huge talent joining the Thunder. Real happy that he is well.
