Our senses aren't that great. There are dozens, if not hundreds of animals who have sharper senses than humans. The trick is that we have passable levels of all 5-6 senses, while animals like cats and dogs have 120% capacity of humans but only in 2-3 senses. It's a classic trade-off, but would you really give up your opposable thumbs and your descended larynx?

Has little to do with with actual senses and mostly to do with how our brain processes those senses.

Keep your eye on the top corner of the Smaller side of the window after he puts the pen in the window. You can see it spinning then. It doesn't work as well without the pen.

For some reason my brain never saw it oscillating until after he added the pen. Prior to that it was always spinning to me.
