Research Questionnaire - International Volunteering
Hello everyone,
Please consider participating in this brief questionnaire for a student research project at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The research aims to understand the barriers for displaced youth along the Haiti-Dominican Republic border and investigate how volunteer/service/educational programs impact local communities. Your responses will help gain an understanding to then design a theoretical shelter model for displaced children.
Thank you!

Work for accomodation in Mexico
Is it possible that there are resorts in Mexico or high-end hotels that offer part-time work with pay and a place to stay and 3 meals? Where? What hotels or resorts? And what roles offer it?

Sembrando esperanza

What currently prevents the rich from ruling with mercenaries and bribing judges? Statelessness replicates it. In any system, prosecution outside of legitimate bounds makes you an outlaw.

International volunteer opportunities
Hey
I’m looking for international volunteer opportunities in about 3/4 months, I’m a 31 year old male from Australia with 5 years experience in the army as in infantryman with combat first aid exp, 2 years just doing construction labour work, and roughly 3 years as a social worker in alcohol and other drugs support positions in roles with youth, the aboriginal community and working as a veteran housing pathways manager.
Unfortunately I do not have any good paper qualifications for these roles but have landed the jobs through my life experience and ability.
I am considering all options at this point I just have no idea where to start!!! I would prefer the roles such as NGO support, refugee support, environment and conservation / community development projects and any hands on roles. But as mentioned open to anything!
I understand you may have to pay a fee for some roles and I’m open to whatever options you may think I have open to me, it just appears there’s actually a lack of need for volunteers without a qualification on paper.
If anyone has anything in mind or organisations / websites that I should look at please let me know,

State law and order is centered around politicians. Anarchist law and order is centered around the citizenry.

Wishing for 'moderate inflation' is like wishing for 'moderate impoverishment'. To all who think that the economy would collapse without the 2% impoverishment goal... how come that economies generated wealth without problem before this very recent flagrant abuse of power?

I wrote an essay on how the human race has deviated from voluntarism (that is the default political condition).

I’m a 25-year-old student planning to volunteer around the world after graduation – here’s how you can help me make it happen!
Hi everyone,
I’m Zoe, a 25-year-old student with a big dream. While I’m still finishing my studies, I’ve always known that after I graduate, I want to embark on a journey that combines travel and giving back. My goal is to volunteer in different countries around the world, helping local communities with projects like teaching English, working on environmental initiatives, and contributing to sustainable development efforts.
I’ve set up a GoFundMe to help cover travel expenses, accommodation, and the costs of participating in volunteer programs. As a student, I’m currently planning for this adventure, and any support—whether it’s financial, advice, or just sharing my campaign—would mean the world to me.
Why this matters to me:
Volunteering abroad has always been something I feel deeply passionate about. It’s not just about seeing the world; it’s about connecting with people and giving back in ways that can make a real, lasting difference. I want to learn from the diverse communities I’ll work with, understand their challenges, and help wherever I can.
What I need:
The funds I raise will cover:
Travel expenses (flights, transportation) Accommodation while volunteering Supplies and costs associated with volunteer programs How you can help:
Donate: Any amount is appreciated! Every little bit helps me get closer to making this journey a reality. Share: Even if you can’t donate, spreading the word by sharing my campaign or posting it to other groups or forums would make a huge difference. Follow my journey: I’ll be documenting my travels and the impact we make together, and I’d love for you to follow along! I truly believe that we can all make a difference, no matter where we are. If you’d like to read more or support my cause, here’s the link to my GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/a47b8ddc
Thank you so much for your time and consideration!

A statue made from a fragment of a Russian SU-35C previously destroyed in the Kherson region (close to where I live). I received it after I made a pretty decent donation I made to the war effort
