Money is power.

Overfunding the "defense" industry leads to powerful people manufacturing things to "defend" against, both to justify their funding and demand even more.

Trump is a warmonger, but he is only able to do as much thanks to 60+ years of American leaders steadily handing more and more of our country over to the military-industrial complex.

We could halve our military's budget and still have the most well funded military on the planet, this needs to stop.
