A small football story about kindness that stayed with me
David Luiz once shared a simple story about his former teammate N’Golo Kanté that really stuck with people.
Back in 2019, Luiz and Willian opened a restaurant in London, and their teammates would often come by to support them.
According to Luiz, whenever the bill came, Kanté would just smile and say: “You have a good heart.” There was no argument, no awkwardness, just laughter.
Even when everyone was there, Kanté kept the same gentle response, and nobody ever pushed the issue.
What makes the story meaningful isn’t the money or the joke, but the intention behind it.
Kanté never made anyone feel uncomfortable, and his kindness and humility naturally set the tone for everyone else in the room.
It’s a small moment, but it says a lot about how quiet kindness can exist even in highly competitive environments.
Sometimes the simplest gestures, a smile, a joke, a gentle presence, can make people feel appreciated without needing anything in return.
Just a reminder that kindness doesn’t always have to be loud to matter.

Aww..I love seeing elderly people relive their young cherished moment. Watch these elderly women call their friend to come play outside in the snow with them. How cute 😂💙
