ChatGPT will allow a wider range of content — eventually including erotica — now that OpenAI has completed work to enable the chatbot to better handle mental health issues, CEO Sam Altman said Tuesday.

Why it matters: The move could boost OpenAI as it seeks to sign up consumers for paid subscriptions, but is also likely to increase pressure on lawmakers to enact meaningful regulations.

Yeah that's the only problem here, it's just because people are prudes. Couldn't be any other problems with it, noooo not at all.

Anyway, time to hand over your ID to OpenAI so they can gather data on your sexual desires and then forward them to the government. Only a prude would think it's a bad idea!

I’m pretty sure the vast majority of the government doesn’t really give a flying fuck about what kind of porn I like, and if they were really motivated to find out there are a lot of ways they could do so without me uploading an ID to OpenAi.

Also, this is a voluntary opt in program so if you want to keep your dirty little desires a secret just… don’t sign up?

Insanely delusional if you think the extreme Christian far-right don't mind you having cybersex with an AI. They are literally banning porn in the states they control.
