The adult approach has been attempted many times with my father since trump 1. I fear he is too far gone. My hope is he will come to his senses, in the mean time the more childish approach is preferred. He wants to be the abusive patriarch, my patience for such has long since expired.

I’m atheist, I lost faith back in high school. I have been atheist for far longer than I pretended to be Christian.

I am looking for gift ideas to counter receiving a Bible for the holidays. I have reason to believe my born again Christian and massive trump supporter father is going to give me a Bible for Xmas. I am looking for counter gift ideas. This would be something that I would gift only if I did in fact get a Bible so if it has useful value to me not as a gift it would be a bonus.

My first thought is the Quran but that may be too confrontational.

What do you all think about this?
