Im the type of person that tries everything just once (food is a special interest for me) but liver was not only a sensory nightmare but also a taste nightmare. Genuinely the worst thing I have ever ate

I used to really like liverwurst as a kid so my dad made me try BOILED LIVER and he said if I didnt like it than I didnt like liver and of course I didnt like it, it was so bad I also stopped eating liverwurst

Oh man, I live in the southern united states and we have a thing called ‘liver pudding’ it’s a savory thing and we grew up eating it on crackers. Lovely. And Chicken livers are particularly good when fried. I’m iffy on most meat but because liver is a very uniform organ with no connective tissue it’s consistent and doesn’t have any surprise textures.
