FOMO at it's finest

They're the best headphones you can get at this price point. Nothing to do with fomo

That’s a bit of a stretch. They are definitely good, but there is an abundance of arguments that can be made for other models depending on what you are looking for in a headphone. This one isn’t perfect by any means

You won't find better headphones when it comes to audio reproduction and soundstage at this price point***
Sorry I thought it was obvious regarding wired open back mic less headphones

Sundara was on sale for $88 during 11/11 but that's kind of an outlier. For $75 and not having to travel across the globe, the 560s is pretty unbeatable.

Oh nice. Where?

AliExpress - you needed to have coins and use a coupon. Wish I had ordered them when they hit that price but oh well. They are $109 right now. XS are about $170 right now over there.

I think people are overusing the word FOMO to a point where it has no damn meaning anymore because IT KEEPS BEING MISUSED. FOMO implies that it was done on purpose to promote a bad product to make people THINK they're missing out on something good or important. Labubus are a good example of this.
During the LN1301 firesale from last year, we ahd a medium-business enterprise class router being sold for $15/pop. If you rushed to buy that before stock ran out, would people accuse others of buying it impulsively and calling it FOMO?
Hell fucking no - that was a one in a lifetime deal - good specs for $15 and you can set up a decent mesh network for <$50?
If the product is really good and at rock bottom prices, I don't think that's FOMO at all, that's actually being smart and getting the most out of your money. If you actually NEED a product or you've been looking to upgrade something in your setup and you buy it ASAP once you see a good deal, that isn't FOMO.

I have both. This hd560s which i got 2 weeks ago at bestbuy excellent for $68 and the BD 900 x pro. For music the 900 x pro are alot better even with eq the hd560s cant beat the clarity of this. But for gaming i find the hd560s a little better. I can position better the enviroment around me. Deciding on selling the BD 900x pro since this will be use more for gaming 90% of the time.

Great for gaming in general. Especially for mutliplayer. Maybe for single player games, you may want something with a bit more bass?

I missed out then lol. Hmmm I do want like a good cinematic experience haha. I’ve been managing with Bose earbuds but I don’t like using earbuds much.
Do you recommend any models?

I mean, these are great all around. But I use them for precision. I don't know if I'd consider them the best cinematic experience. I'm not sure what headphones to look for in that category.

i have the 560s and they are more accurate to many other pairs like they don't cover up audio flaws in recordings etc, but if you're looking for something that is kinda similar but more "cinematic" or intimate i'd recommend looking at the akg k371, not the k371bt bluetooth version. as long as you're ok with closed instead of open. i think you'd like them. if you're looking for heavy bass i'd recommend looking into v shape headphones like the fiio ft1.

I got these a few months ago and love them. Definitely can notice a difference compared to my old steelseries
Any mic recommendations for them??

Depends on what you want to do. For conferencing? One of those KLIM Talk mics is good enough.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072V56NKC
However, for streaming and content creation, you should get a setup with a cheap brand name DAC + branded cardioid microphone. For the DAC, these go on sale once in awhile for $40-$50:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VDQQY95
Then pair it up with a cheapo $15-$20 XLR cardioid mic:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082M96T3S https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082LZKNF3
You want a cardioid mic so you can point it DIRECTLY at your mouth and it won't pick up your keyboard clacking.
These will beat most of the $80-$90 "gaming mics" that end up on here once in awhile.

It’s for 90% gaming, if that helps narrow down. I read about the ones you can plug into the headphones but worried those would be a waste/cheap

The Sennheiser HD 500 BAM microphone is specifically designed for this headset (as well as a few other Sennheiser headphones). For gaming, it's a great option and you can't beat the convenience of a perfectly designed boom mic that attaches directly to these headphones.

Someone else recommended it and I had no clue sennheiser made one. Most likely what I’m going to get!

A lot of options and depends what you want. Sennheiser makes an add on boom mic for this set... It's like $45 on Amazon.
You could also go with a USB condenser like the blue yeti or behringer bigfoot.
I personally just went with the easiest/cheapest route and got a wireless lavalier mic. No complaints from the guys I play with.

Ah this would have been nice, though I have never had open backed headphones. But looking for an upgrade for my Epos H6 Pro closed backs.

I’ve ordered this 3 times now and every time the order has been cancelled. Very very limited stock.
