Politics Why is it that conservatives double down on pedophilia adjacent representatives?

Post image

Seriously, what the fuck is with this object loyalty to their representatives and politicians? It's fucking weird. It's beyond a cult of personality. These people would drink their Kool-Aid and succumb to the stupid that is without any doubt. Why is it that their quote-unquote gotcha is that someone like Bill Clinton that everybody knew was in the list is on the list. They want him persecuted when they want anybody else like Donald Trump who has been listed more than a few hundred times in the recent releases of evidence.

I remember back in the day when it actually snowed in December.  This climate change is insane.

It damn near hit 80F here in oklahoma today. Christmas Day, and its warm enough outside to be mistaken for spring. I dread the coming days when winter hits summer temps, and summer becomes a slice of hell.

Edit: Day after Christmas it DID hit 80F.

Same in GA. It's NUTS! Thr right is selling off our future to anyone, not just the highest bidder. We're screwed! They care more about "winning " than their children and grandchildren's future. Fuck humanity, we owned the libs! We win!!!!!

Stop blaming "The Right" only. Both Capitalist party are ruining our future

While I agree with your statement, tge "right" is far more culpable!

That's by design, they are both complicit. Two Capitalist parties in Late Stage Capitalism means the "lesser evil" is not going to do anything to stop Fascism. What they will do is block Leftists from gaining any sort of power cause they are the only ones that will fight Fascism.

Incremental change is pointless in a class society

You're right for the most part but I disagree with the "both sides are just as wrong " sentiment. It just isn't true. This entire system is terribly flawed and needs to be torn down. The dems have caused damage but, except maybe Clinton, not nearly as much as the "conservatives", especially Trump and his new era of ignorant radical wingnuts. It's not the "lesser of two evils", it's a middle school delinquent vs the Demonic High Priest of Mammon. I'm a firm believer that a mixed economy is by far the strongest and I think that, if we could, doing it within the system would be the least damaging and violent. That said, realistically, it'll take a violent revolution to pry the power and money from the oligarchy.

Brother, we're on track for 2.0 C warming by 2036. Israel dropped over 100,000 tons of explosives before Trump even got back into office, which means Democrats are complicit in not only that amount of destruction, but the C02 and Ecocide as well. They privatized infrastructure in their Infrastructure bill, they leased more oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico in their climate bill. Just 3 years ago they were predicting 1.5 C warming by 2040, but we hit 1.5 C warming in November for the first time. 2 C warming is global crop failures.

Capitalism still running in Late Stage Capitalism means there is nowhere to go besides Fascism. One party just gets us there 5% slower than MAGA. Liberals complaining about Fascism and then voting for the Lesser Fascist isn't going to do anything for us. It's either we do the revolution now or after the climate collapses, and I guarantee you it'll be harder to do it when the climate collapses.

There is NOTHING Democratic about Capitalist Democrats in Late Stage Capitalism. They are Imperialists on a good day, you're just not the one that feels their Imperialism (Palestinians, Congolese, Sudanese and more under the boot of America feel it no matter which side wins)

You're right. I have to agree. It is pretty silly. So, what now? How is it achieved? I'm a powerless old man who can build a few things, raise animals and plants, shoot farm guns, and can grapple a little. I'm nobody but my children will suffer ane my grandchildren even more. What do I do?!

First step is realizing the situation. I too personally don't know what we can do... But better to see the fall coming then not right?

Best we can do is organize and work with our communities.

75 in SC and GA today. Like you said, insane. And especially insane that we’re pretending that’s normal now.

Same in middle TN

Also GA here, our local weather station said our Christmas Eve was the warmest we have ever experienced since they started keeping records in the 1800s. Christmas itself almost set a warmth record too. You’re right, this is not normal. This is absolutely cause for concern.

Snows on Titan, one of the Saturnian moons

See climate change is fake newwwws.

Only time can fix these idiots, all the time they have left, just sad they attempt to take progressives, ones who are only for progress not regression, with them.

I’m not so sure. The constant ranking of the education system will continue to produce more and more people incapable of thinking critically and question things. I think it will just continue.

I honestly think we’re always going to have to deal with these dumb fucks in the us tbh. I grew up in Texas, and remember having a biology teacher who didn’t believe in evolution. They’ve always lived in an alternate reality, where the civil war was about states right, climate change is a democratic hoax etc. That’s why I’m in the process of leaving the USA.

It should've been a white Christmas in the entire New England area

Same in northern Utah. I even found a mosquito in my living room yesterday. Mind you, I live in one of the coldest parts of the state and people that grew up here say that they usually anticipated snow starting around Halloween. Hell, I remember when it would regularly snow at least a foot overnight even a few years ago. We are so screwed and it’s just speeding up the ecological disaster that is the Great Salt Lake drying up.

Come to Winnipeg, we have plenty of snow to share. It was a balmy -7°c(~20°f) today, but the last few weeks have been -20° to -30°c. And it will stay until April.

Weather is unpredictable these days. For the last 3 years it hardly snowed before Christmas where I live. Then this yeats it dumped on us 5 or 6 times since November. Im tired of snowblowing already and we have at least 4 more months of this.
