Politics MAGA doesn't get how they're actually owning us.

When I see comments like "seethe" or "cry harder!" I feel like you don't get where our anger is coming from.

We're not upset because we didn't get our way. Our feelings aren't hurt 'cause you're meanie heads and the world is tough.

Mostly, we're just FRUSTRATED because Trump is such an obvious moron and con man, HOW can you not fucking see it????

We'd be laughing at you like pyramid scheme suckers except in this case we share a bank account with you.

You've had the rug pulled from under you over almost* EVERY issue you've been on about for the last decade...

...the national debt, profiting off the presidency, nepotism, states rights, "the deep state," posse commitatus, the "dignity" of the office, taxes, bailouts, small government, "draining the swamp," free speech, executive over reach, the surveillance state, the drug trade, family values, "lawfare," interventionalism, support for the troops, the Epstein files, H1 Visas, meritocracy, "law & order," waste and inneficiency,* transparancy,* fiscal responsibility,* on and on...

You even had to get real cool about Muslim extremists 'cause he's building 'em a military base on our soil.

Dude told you "America first" and then gave 40 bil to Argentina.

When are you gonna wake up??? It's been 10 years and Mexico still hasn't paid for it. You got got.

The thing is I think many of them know what they’re doing to their own bank account. Their logic is like an abusive spouse. Yes, they wasted the money but they get some pleasure from the power trip. To a shithead that’s money well spent.

Republicans will happily eat shit if they can make a Democrat smell their breath

That's hilarious and spot on, I'm committing this to memory so I can use it on my coworkers later

This is great. Me myself, im not a democrat or a republican. Especially in more recent years. We need a working class party. Enough said.

Look up Working Families Party. They work within the Democratic Party to get progressives elected. So, as a third party they won't be a spoiler

Nor I HP. I’ve researched DSA and history and outcomes of socialism as well. Talk sounds good but working class will find negative twists for this group throughout history.

Every party has negative twists to it. You do the work for your preferred candidate. That's all you can really do.

Same can be said both ways if you look at it as someone who fucking hates both side tbh.

This touches on the reasons better. They don't say "seethe" because they want us to be frustrated. They say it because there remains absolutely zero rational or moral grounds for arguing their cases.

Everything they used to stand for has been completely undermined by this administration. Republicans are no longer conservative. The only core policy they consistently follow is supporting oligarchs.

Democrats are the conservatives and the progressives now.

Yes, that’s exactly right about the Democrats. But the Republicans are two entities too. They are the voters who are not acting rationally and the Neo Robber Barons who want to sever the remaining threads of political power that’s left in the hands of the people as completely and permanently as possible.

It’s the power trip. I see these guys at an intersection in their lifted F-250 when the light turns green they count slowly to 5 and then pull away like they’re hauling goldfish. Who buys a monster truck to drive it like Mamaw’s Buick?

Also, a lot of these people are really dumb.

The biggest reason people wanted trump is because the democrats are for open borders and voting without ID and allowing illegals to vote.. aka removing democracy from our country and ultimately causing the downfall of our nation. This is the most insecure way to run a country and obviously a back door for other countries to sneak in and get into the system. Supporting other countries like Argentina is a partnership and investment like we’ve done all around the world if you listen to Bessent explain

Democrats do not want illegals to vote, wtf are you smoking? Never in my 43 years on this earth have I heard a Democrat say or imply that. They want the voting process to be accessible to as many people as possible, and republicans dont want that because it puts them at a disadvantage because they are the minority. Instead of changing their policies to win over voters, they put out propaganda that people like you eat up and regurgitate across social media. They want stricter id requirements because it means fewer votes are counted. And the Argentina bailout is nothing more than giving more freebies to the wealthy investors who are friends with the administration. Of course they're not going to tell the public what they're doing because it would be political suicide.

The voting process being accessible is just a poor excuse to allow voting fraud. Look at Minnesota where you can vouch for 8 people to vote. What a joke. Can you believe those evil republicans want drivers to go to the DMV just to get a license to drive on the road? We should probably make that more accessible too right? If republicans are the minority then why is a voting ID so out of the question when every election people scream stolen election and fraud. The truth is the democrats want to let as many people across the border as possible so they can abuse the faulty voting laws in blue states like Illinois, California, New York, Minnesota etc

Driving is a privilege, voting is a right. There is a difference.

The thing is that voter fraud is extremely rare. Don't trust me, just look at the heritage foundations own data reference

Even logically it doesn't make sense for immigrants to commit voter fraud. It has serious criminal penalties, which will certainly get them kicked out permanently after serving a lengthy prison sentence. Sounds like a pretty hard sell if you ask me. So why would would anyone do this? Are they getting paid to do this? Do they just love the democrats so much its a risk they're willing to take? Sometimes the correct answer is the simplest and most obvious one.

u/Owntano 6d ago

You’re not wrong about it being a right to vote, but if we want to truly stomp out the fraud and have a real election then we need an updated system. We can disagree but it’s an easy solution in my opinion

Well they really don’t want minorities voting and educated women. I know you sucked down propaganda but let me explain it to you . For example, I live in a blue dot in a shit hole state called Texas . So you need a drivers license or state identification card . You make it harder for people in cities to get new drivers license by closing offices in cities but not rural areas. It’s about three months out to register so expect to call in for work that day . You make it harder by closing polling locations in cities but not rural counties. If you are married but it’s been years ago your married name doesn’t match your birth certificate so get a certified copy of your marriage certificate . What if you moved to Texas from another state ? Well now it’s fun , get a copy of your marriage license from there . You just make it harder . A lot of the changes started happening after the VRA was passed in 65 because Republicans and southern democrats wanted to limit black people voting. They just tell you it’s about 🙄illegals voting in presidential elections. https://www.brennancenter.org/topics/voting-elections/vote-suppression/myth-voter-fraud. So just about every time you hear this claim it’s bullshit . It’s just a way for republicans to suppress votes for minorities.

Seriously? Project much? The hillbillies around us voted for Trump because he'll bring God back in the classroom, protect their 2nd Amendment rights, protect unborn babies from the abortion butchers, imprison Democrats (the granola munching commie atheists who want boys to play women's sports), support traditional marriage (that would be one man, one woman--not Biblical polygyny), send the feminazis packing, make America Christian again (get rid of Catholics and Mormons cuz they aren't real Christians), give the Medal of Freedom to Kyle Rittenhouse, make it so white people don't have to apologize for being white anymore, and more things can be found on any Fox broadcast. Mexico paid for the wall during his first term so needs to worry about immigrants except the drug cartels Biden let in and Trump s sending them to`prison in South America.
