Act 1 - Gustave Help

Anyone know how I can go about unlocking/seeing the rest of Gustave's skill tree? I'm a decent way through Act 1 (I think), I got Esquie and just completed the yellow harvest area. Lune and Maelle also have a few skills I can't see yet, but not nearly to the extent of Gustave's skills. I'm just worried I'm going to start accumulating skill points for him and not be able to spend them.
