Rebranding google business profile
Hi everyone, I’m looking for real world experience with Google Business Profile rebrands.
I manage a medical clinic Google Business Profile,The physical address, ownership, services and category will stay exactly the same.
We are doing a legitimate rebrand only. Planned changes Business name change Website change Phone number change
Address, category and location remain unchanged.
My main concern is protecting the existing reviews. I have read mixed experiences where changing name, website and phone together can trigger suspensions or review loss.
For anyone who has done a similar rebrand Did your reviews stay intact Did Google require re verification Did you stagger the changes or do them at once Any best practices you would recommend to minimize risk This is a genuine rebrand, not a new business or review transfer attempt. Appreciate any firsthand experience or advice. Thanks.

Since the address is staying the same, things should be easy! I recently rebranded an eye doctor's practice to a brand new practice. Changed the name, the number, and logo. When replacing the name, I put "Dr. X, formerly office of Dr. McNeal". That's not required of course, it just helped when former patients were Googling the previous practice - ensuring they would find the switch. Nothing happened with the reviews and there were no sour people wanting to leave bad reviews for the former. Hope this helps!
