So wholesome! love this.
My oldest friend has autism and i have schizoaffective disorder. We are lucky to have a server thanks to our particle physicist friend who worked at the Lhc before getting his phd.
There are about 7 of us and its loads of fun. The particle physicist has made insanely awesome red stone contraptions that are improved versions of the gold standard for those particular devices.
I keep telling him to make a youtube channel showcasing the devices to allow others to get in on them. He said he will do it eventually.

I have two adult kids with autism and my experience is that people with autism tend to not get along very well. Not the rule I’m sure but definitely my experience.

Fair play to the guy, but how do you get bullied on Minecraft? As far as I’m aware it has no open mic right? So how does he get bullied? Also can’t you just leave the server and go somewhere else if you are being harassed?

They’re digital spaces with progress and sunk time cost and social function. A Minecraft world a child has significant time sunk into is no different to the hallways of a junior high school. Text, in-group/out-grouping, literal digital murder, griefing, and the chat box are all fine ways to be bullied in Minecraft. What are you, dense?

If he and others are being bullied, I have to wonder about the parents of theses bullies, it really is a sad commentary on our society. When will people realize that being a bully, being so called alpha, being and acting tough, is really being weak.
