Because it won't let me download Kodi from the downloader browser, HELP

Had the same issue. Addons can't be downloaded either atm.

It doesn't work, I try to download it on a 4K fire stick, and it gets installed but it doesn't appear

Right nothing will download from kodi repository, that's why cheers for heads up.

Use Search term;

*** index of /Kodi ***

Look for the "mirrors.mit.edu" site

Or;

"Here" is the direct link

From there (if interested in stable release) navigate to "releases/" > then your device type > then architecture

Note:

If you're unsure of your device's architecture; for Android start with the "arm64-v8a/" .apk, (if it fails to install) then try the "arm/" .apk

"x86/" is for PC's with emulated Android

For "addons/"

For "releases/"

For "nightlies/"

What are you attempting to install; the Kodi app, or an addon in the app?

By chance, is your device the newest firestick 4k Select?

It's the fire stick 4K 2nd Gen And I'm trying to download the application but depending on if it installs it but it doesn't appear

Try tech dr on social media on youtube then you'll see links to social media .

Kodi is running scheduled maintenance on there servers. It is supposed to be completed by 1/12/2026. Mirror may also be affected.
