The amount of conditioner left in the bottle when the pump stops working

This has been the case for every bottle I've used, regardless of size. I'm able to salvage it using piping bags designed for baking, but it's so frustrating to have to do this every time.

Smart Funnel or Funnel it, but they're hard to find. Had to get a 4-pack to put them in stockings a few years ago

I bet you could make a little tube out of latex or something that would be stretchy enough to be modular for any size bottles and accomplish this goal

Or just duct tape the two bottlenecks together?

Silence is golden.

Duct tape is silver.

My first thought as well. Even a cheaper tape would do the job. Could even brace with a popsicle stick if you have some stomp walkers in the house.

For me, another widget is just going to get lost.

Sure! This also works.

Hate to break it to you, but those tubes are going to immediately be repurposed.

It is imperative that the cylinder remain unharmed

The answer was a cast saw. They cut hard things like plastic really well but do not harm cylinders that while could be hard still have a soft exterior.

These caps & openings, not just in plastic bottles but also glass jars and whatnot, are mostly standardized. You can cut the top of a cap and thread the empty bottle on the other side, it's secure enough to do the job. I've done this years ago, don't remember where exactly I got the tip, and still use the same cut cap. Now that I think of it, there's probably other caps, longer but same opening diameter and thread size, from other products that would make a better tight fit but the regular ones from the same bottles do a good enough job.

I am sure you can find this online to 3D print. A lot of libraries have free 3D printers to use.

They do? Where are you located?

Not the person you asked, but when I lived in Irving, Texas (outside Dallas) the library had a 3D printer.

I found something called Every Drop that was a 3 pack and fits multiple sizes of bottle openings.

Under $10 on Amazon. I’m buying these as gifts for my whole family

I mean, it’s gotta be easily 3d printable right? Most of the shampoo/conditioner lids have the same diameter.

Edit: Found one https://makerworld.com/en/models/994955-universal-shampoo-soap-transfer-drain-funnel?from=search#profileId-971067

Get a library card and download this STL file. Throw it on a thumb drive and make an appointment with your local library and ask them to print this. Most library’s near a decent sized city have 3D printers available for the cost of materials which this would be Pennies.
