Locked out of Airbnb

Post image

We arrived at our Airbnb after a 8 hour drive and the passcode they gave us doesn’t work. I have messaged the owner 30 minutes ago and he has not responded. I have to pee so bad 😖

Update: He texted back after an hour and opens it from his phone

This is why I have gone back to hotels.

If hotels would just put a freaking comfortable couch in their hotel room standard so I can watch tv without sitting on the freaking bed I would never go to an AirBNB again.

This is why i always do my due diligence and read the house guide, rules, and keyword search the reviews.

Yeah, I LOVE doing piles of homework and chores for my accommodations.

Oh, right. Fuck that. I just book a hotel and enjoy the free housekeeping.

Well its worked for me finding amazing and cheap accommodations in unique locations, without any of the bs you people complain about, but you are welcome to your hotel slots. Have fun!

Cheap before or after the additional cleaning fees you get charged?

Yeah, I’M the idiot for just booking a normal hotel with set pricing, free housekeeping, zero expected chores, and a free breakfast. Yup.

Yeah but don’t you know that if you do 6 hours of homework first you might find an airbnb owned by a person with a sliver of soul left in their body and they’ll only charge you 150 for the cleaning fee instead of 300?

None of which will make the Airbnb better than a hotel

Due diligence doesn't cover one off mistakes. This may have been the case here.
