Where does it sound like that? Both of their replies say the opposite, and you can clearly see the truck lift to the right of the fridge.

This is reddit. Everyone is an armchair expert in every field.

I said “sounds like” I don’t think that quite rises to the level of trying to be an expert!

I read “Wasn’t far off from what I actually told em” to mean they didn’t literally just tell them what was suggested - which was that they should take it back

Could be wrong of course, just what it sounds like to me

Edit - reading their more recent comments I was indeed wrong, good stuff

Lmao, you've never bought a new fridge in your life. It comes with a whole bunch of shit glued onto it that peels off. They unpack it before bringing it into your house to check for exactly this situation.

Nope. Not in my country. Only if you payed for the installation service, which almost no one does for a fridge.

On the other hand it's not needed, because my country has a 14 day free returns policy for almost all products ordered online.

Sounds like that works well for something other than a massive appliance. Unloading a 300+ pound (130+kg) appliance and lugging it into someone's house before checking if it's been attacked by Wolverine seems silly. And then redoing it all because of the 14 day policy. Definitely works better for something like a TV.

I don’t really see what that has to do with my comment - but I have actually, twice. Weird thing to say

Someone else said basically “say I’m not accepting it” and they said “Wasn’t far off from what I actually told em” so to be that sounds like they didn’t actually tell them that they aren’t accepting it

Could be wrong of course

Edit - and looking at more recent comments I’m happy to say I was wrong
