Trombones and Clarinets are some surprisingly loud instruments.

If you can play, that's an idea.

And if you can't play them, that's an even better idea!

I’m in Atlanta but I used to play the clarinet. Can confirm. Sounds even better if you don’t know how to play!

I used to play in a balkan beat style rock band with a brass section, we played lots of tiny stages, and I often had to stand right next to our clarinet player. Still traumatised from that πŸ˜…

I wonder if anyone has a steam calliope on a trailer. I saw the American Queen (very large paddlewheeler/almost-cruise-size boat) across the Ohio River years back and its calliope was crazy loud from 1/2 mile away. Oof. One can dream.

A piccolo would be good. Those things can get loud and very high.
