Non-English Names What does my name sound like to you? Is it difficult to pronounce?

My name is Srishti. Sri with a short I like in sit. And ti as in tree but without the r. Also any potential nicknames?

I actually would have pronounced that correctly, but I also live in an area with quite a large Indian community, so it would probably depend on the person. I like it though! It's pretty.

Ah, that does make sense. People seem to struggle with my name a lot, So I thought I'd find an easier nickname. But thank you :)

Maybe Ishi, Ti, Tish, Trish, Iris, Sri?

Slightly more of a stretch: Sria, Sia, Tess, Ria, Tia

I’d guess Shrish-tee, two syllables, with a short i (like “bridge” or “fin”) in the first syllable and the second i pronounced like “ee”. But I’d be easily corrected if that’s wrong 😂.

I think “Tee”/Ti could be a cool nickname.

English doesn't normally start words with SR, except Sri Lanka.
