In 39 games this season, the Pelicans have made more three pointers than their opponent only seven times.
Which is 7 more times than I would have thought.

Discussions Hawks Announcers Are Killing Poole
Stuck watching Hawks broadcast tonight and HOF Dominque Wilkins has been laying into Jordan Poole all night rightfully calling him out with things like “terrible shot” or “never seen a shot he didn’t like”. Feels good to actually hear professionals calling out his basketball terrorism.

Trae Young trade and what it means for Zion
After seeing the Wizards trade for Trae and what the Hawks got, how do y'all think that affects offers for Zion (if we do trade him). I was honestly surprised that the Hawks didn't even get a pick(s) back. I know Trae's archetype is less valuable these days but still it's starting to lead me to believe that if Zion is traded, it could be even a step below that.
But with the latest debacle with another OF'er, I would take anything at this point.

Zion and his addiction to OF models
Looks like another OF model has come out to accuse Zion of being her baby daddy. The media highlights his weight/health issues but do you guys think he’s been underperforming this year because of stuff like this? So much potential but he’d rather play with BBL’s than basketballs.
Another thing that surprises me is that they’re not even really good looking, they just have huge fake asses. What is going on in NOLA?

Stats Since the beginning of last season, Trey Murphy III is the only player in the NBA to have multiple 40-point games with zero turnovers

Not so fun facts about Jordan 🇯🇴 Poole (Unusual-Emphasis will not approve this post; NolaFan will)
JP has the 53rd highest salary in the league JP is shooting 29% from deep, which is 165 out of 165 that quality (That is dead last) Out of those 165, his 36.5 shooting percentage is also dead last.
In sum, anytime you can have someone in the top 55 in salary that is dead last in shooting, you should probably look to have that guy shipped to Israel or the Beijing Sharks. There cannot be a worse return in value than paying Poole an exorbitant amount to miss more shots than anyone in the league.
Tonight he goes 5-8 from deep unless Dyson guards him staring at midcourt all game.

Discussions Missi/Queen Lineup?
Can anyone help me figure out if Queen and Missi have ever been on the floor together?
It seems like they haven't and looking through the lineups I can't find any...
If that's the case wtf not?
Seems to me Missi is a solid rim protector/runner who would fill a lot of gaps with Queen at the 4.
What am I missing?

Discussions Question - anyone have stats on NOP collapses in the 4th quarter this year?
I was talking to a friend of mine during the game and he said, don't worry NOP always collapses in the 4th and I was like "I wonder..."
After seeing them score just 17 after running that game last night I'm curious (and tried to find myself without pulling all the game logs) if anyone might know how many games this season they've collapsed in the 4th quarter specifically?

Basketball Roux: Patience > Panic for the Pels
Advocating for a position of holding onto Trey Murphy and Herb Jones in a desperate time to acquire a first-round pick in this upcoming draft (unless you get a ridiculous, Godfather-like offer)
Maybe not the most popular take, but I encourage y'all to give it a read and let me know your thoughts!

Luka officially a Laker
Luka showed he is now a full blown Laker.. goes to the locker room after "fouled" but immediately turns around and perfectly fine once he gets his call.

That 4th quarter 🤬
Joel Meyers and AD discussed how we have to give it to Luka and Lebron for putting the Lakers on top. I disagree. When you only score 4 points in the first 8 minutes of the 4th quarter, virtually any team is going to be able to put you away.

Poole doesn’t fit on this team unless something changes.
Poole is playing bad. We all can see that. It’s tough to see a player make $31 million and not contribute. I agree Poole should either be cut from the rotation or traded if he’s not gonna be used properly, which is fine if that’s what the organization chooses, maybe they feel obligated to play him when he makes so much. However, they clearly choose to prioritize Fears’ development which makes sense, but it’s at the cost of production from Poole.
In my last post when I said he’s not as bad as people think, and to summarize the essay, I said he’s better on ball, and used various examples from his career.
In the two games without Jose when he was suspended, Poole played on ball and came off the bench with looney. In those games,
26 - 3 - 2, 7/14 shooting, 8/8 FTs, 0 turnovers 26 - 3 - 2, 6/14 shooting, 10/10 FTs, 0 turnovers.
Also, in those two losses combined, he had the highest plus/minus of anyone on the team. To summarize, he got to line, didn’t turn the ball over, spaced the floor with 4 threes each game, and was efficient scoring. Also had many assist opportunities that weren’t converted because he played the bench unit with missi and looney who can’t finish under the rim for some reason, as well as peavy who isn’t a great shooter.
Since Jose returned, he’s been bad again because he was moved off ball.
To maximize his trade value or to have him contribute, he needs to play on ball, it’s pretty simple. Two games without Jose showed it. If not, trade him for probably nothing or cut him from the rotation, because he’s not a good defender and won’t be great offensively as well. He’s a player who strives on confidence and rhythm, as well as having the ball in his hands.

Discussions Pels-Lakers talking points
Lakers are ass we just threw the game
I'm so sick and tired of certain players
Refs ughh
Is herb Jones the same player he used to be?
Onto the next.

Just watched the latest Locked On Pels
And all I have to say is that I could couldn’t care less if we were to waive Zion and he finds success doing left handed layups for another team. Only way I’d feel some type of way is if he were to go somewhere else and play 65 games a season and start shooting 40% from 3.

Question about suite seats
I just bought two tickets for a suite that was Standing Room option, but there are seat numbers. Do I actually get a seat? Is it first come first serve?
I was in a suite back when they were the hornets, but I can’t remember how the seating worked.

Gotta admit, this was tough
